Watch the YouTube tutorial below to learn more about pressing the acrylic!
Order of colors:
White (will have clear, removable film on it to prevent scratching), Blue, Red
Heat Press Settings:
IQ setting: Top 280°F / Bottom 320°F for 45 seconds
Single Platen: 300°F for 50 seconds.
Panel size:
Each panel is1/16" or 1.5mm thick (minor, slight variations are normal), and APPROXIMATELY 12" x 24" (or slightly longer). The adhesive sheets are precision cut to exactly 12" x 24" and squared up with one corner of the panel, so there may be some acrylic not backed with adhesive along one or two edges.
Each (12" x 24") panel will effortlessly fit 36 (2.5" x 2.5") patches.
Tips: Remove the clear protective film on the FRONT of the acrylic panel before engraving. Yes, the adhesive will be bubbly on the back of the panel, as acrylic is nonporous and the functionality of the adhesive will not be affected. Clean the surface of the acrylic with soapy water and towel, or a gentle baby wipe, after engraving.

Love the look of the RWB tri layer acrylic! Make a lot of patriotic patches. They turn out great!
Love this tri-layer
Turns out perfect. Test, Test, Test for your settings until perfect. Takes some time to get it dialed in, but once you do, BAM. So awesome..
Absolutely love this product! And the company also! They know how to change the game up for laser folks, while keeping it reasonable and quality based! I will always be a permanent repeat offender of their product! lol.
This is by far my favorite acrylic of all. Just the thought of someone having this created is thinking outside of the box. This product is a gamer changer. Lonestar never will disappoint!!!!
I am new to the laser engraving business. My only concern with this material is that I wish the blue layer was a little thicker. I am having a hard time dialing in to get a good blue without getting into the red. It just seems like if it were about 2x thicker, it would be a lot easier. The red comes out great and cuts like a champ. This may be 100% operator error. But I will get it figured out at some point.
