Your custom engraved hat patches are laser engraved using our Trotec 80W CO2 laser to provide you with cleanly engraved and extremely detailed patches. These patches are great for for hats, backpacks and anything you can imagine.

We only use Lonestar Adhesive leatherette as their product is thicker, more durable, and has a stronger adhesive than anyone else on the market.

Leatherette is a vegan leather with heat activated adhesive already on the back.

Select the Quantity you need
Upload the vector file you would like to have engraved and provide the size specifications you prefer, any other sizes over the standard six square inches contact us directly. Your image should be a vector file format (SVG, AI, etc) with one color (RGB BLACK) to represent what you want to engrave and an outline for where the patch is to be cut.
By default we will make the patch shape a contour/DieCut cut of approximately 1/8" around the design or if you'd like a different shape please notate the order.
After Ordering - monitor your email within a few days for proof review and approval (email will come from hello@ink-and-ember.com)
If your file is not considered high res or needs significant work there may be an additional charge of $15 to adjust your artwork.

ORDERING NOTES :

We have a minimum order of 40 patches for our best pricing and sizes can vary according to your specs. Purchase price includes basic setup.
After purchase we will contact you to discuss your artwork and patch size requirements. Watch for an email from hello@ink-and-ember.com.
Default overall patch size is limited to 6" square dimensions (2" x 3" for example)
Black/White Vector files are required
Hats are not included
If "Other" is selected, this material is subject to availability and possibly longer processing time. A color swatch is included in the photo gallery to select your color. Enter the color preference in the order details/instructions
If any unique patterns of leatherette are needed for processing your order such as UV Printed sheets from Lonestar, please reach out as there may be an additional material surcharge
Specialty sheets like UV printed patterns and textures are not included. If this is the request, please be aware that there may be a material surcharge

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS SINGLE PLATEN :

Preheat hat in hat press for 30 seconds at 325F with thin silicone sheet between the hat and platen
While heating hat, heat the back of the patch with a heat gun on low for 15 to 30 seconds until you see the adhesive change (reflective, more tacky) (note: it's a heat gun not a blow drier)
When preheating the hat is over remove the hat press heater and silicone pad from the hat and apply the patch to the hat in desired location, careful it's hot.
Press again for 30 seconds with light to medium pressure with a silicone pad on top of the patch and hat. Check edges of the patch and make sure it stuck, if not adhered on the edges, repress the hat until you get desired results.
