Premium Leather Quality

These patches are cut from premium 4–5 oz. (approximately 2.0–2.4 mm) top-grain leather. Because genuine leather is a natural material, thickness, grain, and color may vary slightly, giving each patch its own unique character.

Limousin Brown features a rich, deep brown tone with beautiful natural character and is hot stuffed with waxes and oils that help make cleanup after engraving significantly easier. The warm, classic finish creates exceptional contrast when engraved, making it an excellent choice for premium hat patches and custom leather goods. While we source only the highest-quality hides available, minor natural markings or imperfections are to be expected and are part of the authenticity of genuine leather.

Care & Cleaning Tips

After engraving, remove the majority of dust with a microfiber towel. Any remaining residue can be gently cleaned using unscented baby wipes. To help preserve the rich appearance of your leather patches, we recommend applying a 75/25 mixture of polyacrylic and water after engraving to keep your patches looking their best.
